Zeltiq-Cryolipolysis
Developed by dermatologist from the Harvard Medical School in Boston, this treatment "melts" fat away through controlled cooling. During the procedure, tissue is drawn into a cup with a mild vacuum pressure. Cold temperature gets from the skin surface directly into the treated fat depots for 60 minutes, where the fat cells naturally degrade over time which can last up to 2 to 4 months. The Zeltiq-Cryolipolysis is not suited for weight reduction for obese patients, but for localised fat reduction in problem areas such as the abdomen or hips.
